The Temple of the Celestial Serpent, the latest puzzle card from Mystery Unfolds, has just launched on Kickstarter. All cards are lovingly handcrafted by Kieran Flaherty and his team of puzzle designers & artists, based in Perth, Australia. So far, they have released a whole collection of puzzle cards based around different themes, including pirates, Swedish furniture stores and Egyptian mummies. The Temple of the Celestial Serpent is based on the high fantasy genre:
“After days of traversing this perilous, trap-laden dungeon, you emerge in a large cavern – a towering mural dominating its furthest wall. Passing rows of acolytes in odd yoga poses, you realise on approach that this is no mural, but an ancient apparatus – so colossal that it extends neatly to the end of your vision. An impossible collection of decorative hinged panels and gears, it appears able to twist in on itself – shifting to expose further treasures? The guard hails you…
