Emerald Echoes (PostCurious) // Kickstarter

PostCurious is back with a brand new narrative puzzletale set in the world of the multi-award-winning The Emerald Flame! For returning players, Emerald Echoes further expands upon the world you’ve grown to know and love. If you haven’t played The Emerald Flame, this is a completely standalone adventure that requires no prior knowledge; more on that below!

What’s it about?

“Through the eyes of a historical researcher, embark on a fantastical journey to uncover the secrets of a legendary alchemist and her enigmatic companions. With beautifully illustrated puzzles, tactile artifacts, and immersive storytelling, each piece of the puzzle brings you closer to unravelling the mysteries of the past.

Written by Lauren Bello (The Morrison Game Factory, Threads of Fate) and spanning four captivating chapters, Emerald Echoes can be played as a solo or co-op adventure. Whether you’re a returning player or new to PostCurious, Emerald Echoes offers a fresh, standalone story that continues the epic journey of the award-winning puzzletale, The Emerald Flame.”

Do I need to play The Emerald Flame first?

If you want to play the story in chronological order, then it’s best to play The Emerald Flame first. It isn’t essential to play the games in a particular order, as both experiences are standalone. Less experienced players may find Emerald Echoes to be more accessible in terms of puzzles and its more linear nature. So it could be a great starting point if this is your first foray into the Emerald series.

How can I get a copy?

Emerald Echoes is now available on Kickstarter for a limited time. The game will be available to buy at a later date, but to lock in the best price and play it first, you’ll need to back the campaign.
